The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry is an online course provided as part of International Christian Dance Fellowship's vision to see all Christian dancers equipped and supported in their calling or vocation. The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry is designed to give people the opportunity to develop skills and understanding in the application of ministry through dance and movement.

Introductory
COURSE
Our 6 Week Introductory Course covering dance in the Bible, a lifestyle of worship, praise dance equipment, leading congregations and Christian dance groups and arts in ministry and outreach

CERTIFICATE
In the ICDF Certificate in Dance Ministry 2 year program, students learn how to convey their faith through dance, thus, deepening the students understanding of this ministry.

DIPLOMA
Our ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry 4 year program explores the Biblical foundations of dance as a form of worship, deepening the students understanding of its significance in ministry.

FREE
Taster
Our FREE 1 Week Taster program covers one style, focusing on integrating worship and movement to enhance spiritual expression.
TRIMESTERS 2026
There are 3 trimesters a year starting in February, May and September. However, students can begin at the start of any trimester, with one or more subjects.

OUR HISTORY
The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry began as a Dance Ministry degree at Wesley Institute in Sydney, Australia. Then in 2010 a cooperating venture with Unity College (a Christian college in Sydney) under the Australian VET (Vocational Education and Training) accreditation system as a Diploma in Dance Ministry. However, as VET requirements were seen to include areas irrelevant to the Diploma in Dance Ministry, it was decided that the Diploma would become a stand-alone qualification in 2016 under the International Christian Dance Fellowship (ICDF), while maintaining a relationship with Unity College through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU ).
The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry faculty members formed the academic leadership and the faculty tutors were, and are viewed as experts in their fields. The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry is now underpinned by the ICDF Steering Committee and the globally situated and amazingly gifted and experienced panel of ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry Advisors.
In 2024 Unity decided to withdraw their involvement with the ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry as part of a College restructure. Since then, we have worked to establish partnerships with other Christian Tertiary Arts institutions. The first partnership to emerge was with the Masterclass Cultural Leadership in Europe, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed in 2025. We are currently negotiating similar relationships with other institutions globally.
